Optigram for Telegram · GoHighLevel Marketplace

Telegram in the GHL inbox — starting with opt-in, not cold DMs.

Agencies asked for a GoHighLevel Telegram integration. Telegram bots cannot start chats, so Optigram makes the first tap easy: a deep link, QR, or button. After that, conversations, workflows, and AI replies work like any other channel. Agencies mark up and rebill the app to their clients.

How a conversation starts

The contact starts the thread in Telegram. You do not start it from GoHighLevel.

  1. Share an Optigram opt-in link or QR (email, SMS, site, or print).
  2. The contact opens Telegram and taps Start.
  3. That first message appears in Conversations, mapped to the right contact.
  4. Then you reply, run workflows, or use AI on that existing thread.

Do not open Conversations and send the first message. Telegram bots cannot start a chat. A send to someone who has not tapped Start fails with no_telegram_optin — that is expected, not a bug. See How to use.

Opt-in is the product

Generate a contact-bound or capture-new link, QR, or pasteable button. The lead opens Telegram, taps Start, and lands on the right GHL contact — with source and timestamp recorded.

Inbox, workflows, AI

Inbound Telegram text and photos appear in Conversations. Replies and workflow sends go back out, rate-limited at 30/s per bot and 1/s per chat. No mapping means a clear no_telegram_optin failure, not a raw error.
